Your Personality
What determines your personality?
1.
Your Genetic makeup
Our personality can perhaps be transmitted genetically, for example anger, emotional violence were found to run in the family. But that doesn't mean that You will no longer be able to modify your character.
There are many researches found that habit and the identity of each individual can be adjusted based on a combination of many factors during childhood. There may be approximately 30% of personality stability, and at the onset of puberty, stability increases at about 54% and personality stability increases by 74% between the ages of 50-70.
Therefore, the proverb that says "a young tree is easy to bend and an old tree is difficult to bend" may be applicable in this case. The field of psychology has tried to research ways to modify the development of human behavior to lead to a more quality life, so our genetics may not be a determinant to our life consequences. To conclude, I believe that as long as the time is not too late, humans are perhaps able to improve and develop themselves
2.
Your environment
The environment in which we surround ourselves and grow up with can also affect our identity as well, such as family living conditions, status, including financial status, friends, relatives, residence., as they could be the beginning of educational institution which will affect what we learn and how we learn.
Therefore, trying to manage your environment in a positive way or trying to change your lifestyle to be away from various dangers would be a great way to influence your personality better. Living life with morality and ethics may be another factor that affects the identity Or is it really our personality that we are born with?
For example, anger or the desire to compete, etc. If we try to choose and surrounding ourselves with modesty, learning to be calm and practice reasoning, rather than being emotional and get angry. The anger gene or our predisposed qualities that we have won't have to be used much. In other words, our genetic quality may not have to come to surface as we are happened to be in the environment where it's comfortable and there is no trigger or stress to be angry much. Thus, the environment in which we live in seem to be another factor that influence our personality and our behaviors
Therefore, I hope that in order to develop yourselves and improve yourselves, you may take your environment factor into account and try your best to create a more nice and kind environment that it will promote the good qualities in you, rather than promote the unwanted behaviour that we all may have carried along our journey.
All in all, to be a better person, of course it will not be possible just by changing the environment. But I would still like to encourage everyone to learn to do good and always keep improving yourself.

3.
Your shared family personality
Values passed on within the family is another factor that could affect our identity. For instance, even twin siblings who may have most of the genetic qualities similarly to each other, but still each of them may still feel different or looks different from each other. Although, the values or lessons they have learned from their family and their parents will be pretty much the same. Thus, it is important to promote or pass on ethical values that will help ourselves and others building this society with moral and kindness.
For example, if a parent is a compassionate person, the value of helping others or sympathy and not encroach on others would be carried on and promoted to the children and family members. But as we know that In addition to external factors such as environment and beliefs or being taught by family, there are still internal factors such as genetics that can affect the personality of human beings as well.
Therefore, I hope that parents and guardians will pay attention to how to teach our children. To make sure that we will teach a little human being to be a kind and loving person who will later on protect and develop our community and our society.

4.
Your life experiences
Various experiences in life that we have gathered may be considered as another factor that affects our identity. Including our ideas and consciousness. So trying to learn from experiences that have happened in our life may be one of the ways that we can always develop ourselves.
As many studies have said about the change in personality that might be easy in childhood until adolescence, so it would be always good to try to adjust yourself, to be a person who thinks good, does good things, has mercy and does not cause trouble to others and society.
And if you have problems with feelings of empathy for others or the need to adjust to others including self-development to be a person who does not cause trouble for others, you may try to look for advice or seek professional help. It might be another solution that may help you improve the development of your identity.
Also, I would like to emphasize that everyone is a unique individual person. We always have an idea that we are all different and we are who we are. Thus, no one can replace and imitate each other. So, by trying to imitate the personality of others, it would just only create concern, the demand to be like someone else which will never bring you peace. So, I believe it's better to try to change your concept by accepting ourselves and embrace our own flaws. Let's learn and develop ourselves not to be like anyone else, But let's be ourselves in a better way, with a healthy mind and a happy body. That's all. I hope that your Personality will be something to be proud of. In the style of your uniqueness.
